A client wanted her sister's surprise proposal photos fixed. The sun had set by the time it happened, so the shots came out dark and flat. They were taken on an older camera, so they were also noisy and a little out of focus.
She sent the RAW and JPEG files and wanted the color and light brought back, the background blurred, and black-and-white versions made.
The RAW files let me bring back the light and warmth the photos lost after sunset. I sharpened the subjects and blurred the background to separate them from the clutter behind them.
I graded each photo for a warm look and included black-and-white versions.
