Marla and her fiancé shot their prenup in three spots around Siargao: the beach, the palm trees, and the restaurant where they had their first date. Each location had different light, but the gallery needed to look consistent.
She wanted a natural, cinematic look with warm film tones and natural skin. The beach photos needed cleanup, and her fiancé's watch tan line had to be evened out in every shot it showed.
I sent sample edits first so we agreed on the look before I edited the full set. I graded each location to fit its own light while keeping the whole gallery consistent.
I retouched skin, evened out the tan line, and removed distracting objects and people from the beach shots. I also included black-and-white versions of some images.
The final gallery covered all three locations in one look, about 28 images including the extra retouched frames and black-and-white versions.
Sending samples first kept us on the same page from the first draft to the final delivery.
